Coach Ana Maria Irueste-Montes PhD, BCC, PCC is a Certified Coach.
Ana Maria was born in Mexico City. Her upbringing allowed her to grow up with a unique perspective about different cultures and the world. Growing up she was exposed to the Basque heritage of her mother, the Spanish heritage of her father and the Mexican heritage of the country that she grew in. She was then further exposed to the American culture in her formative years. In addition Ana Maria has experienced living in a small town of approximately 500 people, intermediate cities, to large metropolis (Mexico City). These experiences have colored her ability to navigate, understand and find communalities and differences, as well as appreciate the richness that diversity brings to the table.
Ana Maria trained as a Psychologist and entered the coaching field when she joined The Center for Creative Leadership as an adjunct staff, while working in private practice in Colorado Springs. She found Coaching to fit perfect with her calling of helping others become who they can be, and helping them become better managers, better leaders, and to grow caring sustainable organizations. Subsequently she obtained Certification with the College of Executive Coaching and now serves as an adjunct staff with that Organization.
Values are an integral part of helping, individuals, leaders and organizations succeed. Ana Maria believes that values are the compass by which individuals and organizations navigate. They are also the calling card of who they are to the world, as well as a calling card to who they are internally. Her Coaching calling card includes the values of Diversity, Sustainability and Connection.
The organization that you run and work for is built by people, run by people, so that it can serve people. As a leader you lead your internal self, as well as others externally. As a women and/or minority you represent a group of people who have unique voices, that your status as a woman or minority represents.
Human behavior and human emotions are the building blocks of any human endeavor. On this next stage where is your learning zone? Your performance zone? How are you exploring, asking, listening, reflecting, striving and becoming as an organization, as a leader as an individual in this new stage. What are you curious about?
As a coach I would be honored to walk with as you move forward with curiosity and purpose toward your future as an organization, as a leader, as an individual.
